TAS introduces the Hawk Compact 6, 7, 8, 9

As the demand for lower cost, entry level or first automatic increases, TAS has entered the arena and gave it some outside the box thinking…. And it’s a hit!

Yes, after 28 years of building high end, rugged automatic presses – TAS introduced the Hawk Compact series. Listening to our customers established single-phase current was definitely needed for the home and small shop users, as well as low power consumption and small air compressors! TAS engineering answered the challenge and gave 220VAC, 1phase, 17amp using electric print heads and electric servo indexer yielding 800 prints per hour, with a 2 horse power air compressor and eliminated the chiller and dryer…. Also, reduced the diameter - 8 station to 9’ 9”, 10 color to 10’ 9” and in the unload station - added a removable print head location for those jobs that need one more flash or where one more print head is needed – add or remove in 15 minutes.

The Hawk Compact was introduced at Impressions Long Beach also shown at Impressions Orlando and Atlantic City. We will display it at Image World in Mexico City and SGIA in Las Vegas!
